This tree lets the saddle sit in the correct position on the horses back. A fairly flat seat and free swinging, forward hung stirrup leathers put the rider in the proper position to bring out the best gait in paso and naturally gaited horses, for training, trail riding, and what Don calls gaited horse “sit-down equitation".
